Sales Executive

Overview

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated Sales Executive with proven experience in B2B travel technology sales. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, understands the complexities of the travel sector, and can confidently sell high-value technology. It’s a hybrid, full-time role based in Preston, Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and win new business opportunities within the travel industry (tour operators, online travel agencies, sports and activity providers, and travel agencies)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to client needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of client challenges and position solutions effectively
  • Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to refine messaging and offering
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Required Experience

  • Proven track record in B2B travel technology sales (essential)
  • Experience selling SaaS or enterprise software solutions
  • Strong understanding of the travel industry ecosystem (e.g. tour operators, OTAs, DMCs, or activity providers)
  • Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise effectively
